Harbours + Boating: Chart a course for Oakville

If you know that a bowline, clove hitch, round turn and two half hitches, rolling hitch, figure of eight, reef, sheet band and stopper are all types of knots then you know these are among the most important things a sailor needs to know. The other most important thing a sailor should know is how to get to Oakville.

On the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario, Oakville’s two harbours welcome all boaters, power and sail! In addition, Oakville and Bronte are both customs reporting stations.
