A note about the Oakville Waterfront Festival
At the end of 2009, the Oakville Waterfront Festival’s board of directors announced the festival’s closure after 18 years. The Oakville Waterfront Festival was an organization operated by its own board; the town supported this community event through services provided by Oakville Transit and the Parks and Open Space department.
